In my campaign world, 2nd edition Bards are known as Heralds.  They are men and women who have followed the road of the Great Bards of History.  Now they know there are still Bards about, but trying to get one of those to apprentice you is very difficult, if not impossible.  So the Herald College was founded.  Legend states that it was started by 3 Bardic apprentices who lost their master, and couldn't get another.  How you act towards Bards is your choice, most Heralds don't like Bards, and wish they would follow their leaders ways and just disappear.  Some feel that the Bards are to be awed... basically it's up to you, like it should be.  :)  I will allow ads and disads for this character class, simply email me and ask.
